Recently the school board of my school district have found the need to reduce the district budget as other school across the country has. One of the changes is that the Gifted Program (which I attend) here at my school has been cut. Just when we got such an exciting and awesome new teacher, we discover that not only the 6th graders will be going to middle school next year and have a new gifted teacher, but the other Program-goers at our school will have to go to the gifted program at another school, and according to one of us that used to go there for her gifted program, it isn’t very good, no individual project work at all. I am very disappointed in this decision, but no one listens to a “child” that “shouldn’t care” about all this, correct? I can’t believe it, but when they made the decision and sent out the letters explaining the situation to the students and parents, they didn’t even send it to the 6th graders since they thought that since it didn’t involve us, we wouldn’t care, so we were the last that knew about it.

It’s a Brand New Year!

It’s a Brand New Year! Welcome everyone! I really am not kidding, I am writing this at 12:12 a.m. 1/1/11, that really is a lot of 1’s and 12’s! I can hear music blaring out from someone’s partying, and the fire crackers exploding overhead, well, not really overhead, I can’t even see them, but it does sound like they’re exploding overhead. With the new year comes resolutions, our family’s concerns a lot of reading.

For example, I got my dad to have a new year’s resolution stating that he will read more and excercise his English in the future new year that is already here, since his english needs improving and he never reads………. What are some of your new year resolutions and celebrations, I’m not sleeping until  2:oo, probably…… Bye!

Happy New Year’s Everyone! WWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO HHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy days

Ah…………….. The holidays are almost over now……. That doesn’t mean that you have to throw away the cozy cheeriness, sure, you have to go to school again… Ugh, for some people, but one of the wierder things about is that I tend to actually like going to school more than having to stay home. I am one of the fewer people that actually enjoys studying. I know, most people’s reaction would probably be: wow! why? why on earth would anyone want to go to school over doing WHATEVER you want to at home? My reaction is, exactly, WHATEVER, I don’t care, and I don’t know why, and I don’t care about that either.

Now, back to the point. Life need not end when you have to go back to school,  I know it sounds cheesy, but those who are more of the drama queen type may feel exactly that.

So, exactly what can you do AFTER SCHOOL that can still be perfectly enjoyable-that is, after you do your homework.

Well duh!?!?!?!?!? What do you like to do? Hobbies? I know that also sounds like I think you are an idiot, but-for one thing, maybe you are an idiot, and also, I trust that some of you are probably just sitting there, not wanting to do anything. Believe me, there are quite a few times a day that I just want to sit down on a sofa or couch, and just lean back and wish that bed time would come earlier. But……… I’m the kind of person that just can’t not do something, it’s absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for me. If my experience is normal, which I definitely isn’t, then just make yourself GO DO something and that feeling will go away.

As you can tell, I’m also the rambling type when I’m typing, HA HA HA, that is hilarious, not. You probably doesn’t even get what I’m pretend laughing at (I can also tend to be negative).  But that is the secret, go do whatever you happen to be wanting to do. Relax, after your work is done is down time, no need to hold yourself in check anymore. Stretch out, that always helps me. Sometimes you’ll find that like I do at night, no matter how hard you push your brain, nothing is coming out of that juicer, unless you plug it in of course. Rest a little, go do something else, O GREAT PERSON THAT IS READING THIS! Find a mug of hot chocolate, instant, if you must, and curl up with a new book. Or crank up the I POD, or go paint, whatever you want. Now you’re probably thinking, those thoughts are really coming aren’t they? No, that is not the thought that you’re probably thinking, that though is probably:  how many “whatevers” do you need?

AH HA! The final breakthrough, at least someone got it, that’s it, “WHATEVER” is the key. Do WHATEVER you want to do, WHATEVER time you choose to do it, providing that you are doing the right thing and that you already did the nessecary and most important things first.

Harry Potter movie

Recently, during Thanksgiving vacation, my dad took me to a Harry Potter movie showing. I had been looking forward to it, but I am sad to say that I did not enjoy it very, much. At this point, you may stop reading, I’m sure that at:

you will find a much view of the movie.

I am however, looking forward to the new movies that will be coming in December: “the Voyage of the Dawn Treader” and “Gulliver’s Travels”

Happy Halloween! Here’s  a poem to celebrate!

Halloween is here, what do you think?

Someone pressed the doorbell! DING DING DING!

Trick-or-treat! Trick or treat!

came the chant behind the door,

Coming! You’ll yell,

When you open your door, there’s quite a sight,

Ghosts, knights, princess, and dwarves,

standing, right outside my door!

Have a little chocolate, marshmallow fluff

Don’t eat too much candy though!
